Va Vang, her husband Wa Houa Vue, and their three children moved to the United States from Laos in December of 1992. They initially settled in Minnesota, but moved to Medon TN about 3 years ago where Va Vang's sister had a farm. Medon is about 8 miles south of Jackson, TN. The family works hard to farm about 36 acres of land, and extract as much produce as possible. They grow bok choy, potatoes, snap beans, butter beans, purple hull peas, cucumbers, peppers, squash, eggplant, tomatoes, among others. Stop by & buy some produce from this hard working lady with the big smile!
