Cucumbers in Sour Cream

1 or 2 large cucumbers or 5 to 6 picling cucumbers
Salt
Pepper
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 cup sour cream

Wash and peel cucumbers and slice very thin. Place cucumbers in a colander, salt well and stir. Let sit 1 to 2 hours to drain. Combine cucumbers, onion and sour cream in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir well. Chill several hours or overnight. Good over sliced tomatoes.
