No Time 2 Cook began three years ago when two sisters and a friend cooked up some favorite family recipes, froze them in small containers, and hauled it all to a little flea market in Byram, MS outside Jackson. Their efforts ended with empty coolers, cash in their pockets, and a business venture on the horizon. Today, No Time 2 Cook has evolved into a fully licensed frozen food company in Oxford, MS, owned by Karen and Jeff Kurr.
Though raised in Mississippi, Karen has deep roots in south Louisiana, so it's no surprise that No Time 2 Cook's claim to fame began with Cajun dishes such as Crawfish Etouffee, Gumbo, and Red Beans & Sausage. To satisfy the varied tastes of her Mississippi customers, Karen now offers a wide range of delicious Southern dishes and desserts, such as "Home-style" Chicken Pie, "Stone Ground" Baked Grits, Caramel Cake, and much more.
You can find No Time 2 Cook's frozen food items at The Mustard Seedin Oxford, Ms, Crosstown Pharmacy & Gifts in Greenwood, Ms, The Seafood Shack in Brandon, Ms, and Star Supermarket in Huntsville, Al. Also, Karen still brings her loaded coolers to Jackson one Saturday a month to The Belhaven Marketon Fortification St., April thru December. No Time 2 Heat Up?You can now enjoy No Time 2 Cook's Gumbo, Etouffee, and Bisque served hot for lunch or dinner. Drop by The Seafood Shack in Brandon, Star Supermarket in Huntsville for a memorable meal rarely found outside of south Louisiana.
