The busiest times are early in the morning and at the end of the day, setting up and taking down the Market infrastructure. There will be Board Members and the Market Manager onboard each Saturday working with you to direct your activities and answer questions.

We use radios to communicate quickly and clearly among ourselves in addressing various needs over a large site. Volunteers are given a Memphis Farmers Market T-shirt to wear during duty, as well as a Volunteer Lanyard.

Registered volunteers receive a monthly call for market volunteers. Once you sign up for the month's shifts that fit your schedule, you'll receive confirmation of your slots, as well as a "week-before" reminder that confirms where you're scheduled.
