Become a Volunteer
Volunteers are essential to ensuring successful MFM general operations, events, and solid customer service. The market’s volunteer participation is robust and growing. Currently we have reserves of more than 400 volunteers who help ensure all of our weekly markets run smoothly — in addition to an extremely active volunteer board that participates weekly. The Memphis Farmers Market is a volunteer led, not-for-profit market that operates on a small budget to fund an array of operating expenses. We rely on the generous financial support of organizations and our patrons to help implement our marketing, operations, site development, health education and community relations programs to serve as a community gathering place where local producers and artisans can offer fresh agricultural and related products.
